As a musician, I’m really picky about sound quality. Even when I’m at home watching a movie on my own couch, I prefer a rich, full sound that makes me feel immersed in what I’m hearing. I was in the market for a new sound bar, when the Polk Command Bar caught my attention. Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I can tell you exactly why it’s my new favorite home theater technology!

The best thing about it, to me, is its conveniently built-in Amazon Alexa control. It has a sensitive enough microphone, that I could be across the room from it – pretty darn far away – and it can pick up my voice when I say, “Hey Alexa – what’s the weather tomorrow in West Palm Beach?” I’m one of those people who wants SIMPLICITY when it comes to technology. With this sound bar, I enjoy the ease of having a voice-activated speaker in my home that can hear me without me having to yell.
My second favorite aspect of this product is that it dramatically improved the audio quality of my television. It truly does bring theater-quality sound to your living room! It’s a very immersive audio experience, so I’m happy about that!
