Mocha Whip: a calorie-free skin indulgence!

Ever since I became mom to a newborn baby, I have washed my hands frequently throughout the day. Preparing bottles, changing diapers – you name it, and I have had to wash my hands for it. I started getting dry cuticles, when I discovered a fun way to moisturize: Mocha Whip! It is “natural butters and soaps, dripping in yumminess,” with “vegan, earth-friendly indulgences for your body and hair.”

This Florida-based company handcrafts this entire line of natural soaps, butters and whips, so I was excited to receive a box of goodies to review. I am LOVING every single product for its moisturizing properties and fragrance!

I keep a jar of the Vanilla Chai by the kitchen sink, which is where I have been most frequently washing my hands. It is a visual reminder to apply a layer after I wash my baby’s bottles, and the warm scent is uplifting for my mood – no matter how sleep-deprived I feel.

I also especially love the Shea Butter Balls, because they’re convenient to just pop open the lid and grab a butter ball. I have noticed that one full butter ball is a generous amount, which I apply all over my hands, arms, legs and feet. When I just need a quick amount for my hands, I halve the butter ball.

Speaking of feet – I suffer from dry, scaly feet (sorry for TMI). These products have been a huge help, because after just two nights of slathering the Peppermint Mocha Shea Whippie on my feet, they already look SO much better!

The Shea Whippies are probably my favorite, because it’s a triple-whipped shea butter which has a rich and creamy feel. I’m kind of obsessed, actually.

It just looks delicious when you open the lid for the first time (don’t eat it, though). I’ve been applying the Shea Whippies about 5-10 times a day, no exaggeration!

My favorite fragrance surprised me – I love the Birthday scent! I also like the look of the Shea Swirlies. It’s so attractive. The Gingerbread smells just like the real thing, fresh out of the oven.

It has unrefined ivory shea butter mixed with a dash of dark cocoa butter, essential oils and natural fragrance.

Last, but not least, the company also offers Raw Black African Soap. This bar cleanses, heals, and moisturizes with infused shea butter and coconut oil – in its purest form with no colorants or chemicals added. It’s made from cocoa pod ash, shea butter, coconut oil, palm oil and water, which makes it incredibly rich in antioxidants and minerals like vitamin A, E and iron.

There are so many products to try, and I’ve truly been impressed with all of them! If you want to experiment to see which fragrances you like the best, I recommend starting with the Whippie Mocha Minis. That way, you get everything in the wonderful Shea Body Whippie texture.

  1. These whips are a great idea. My hands are always dried out from washing. The natural oils combined with the aromas from those flavours sound like just the thing I need.

  2. Wow amazing products. I am keen to try out Peppermint Mocha Shea Whippie. Need to pamper my feet a bit.

  3. As a teacher I use chalk quite a lot, and it really destroys skin on my hands. That’s why they need some special care even in the summer months. I love gingerbread, so I’d like to try this product this summer! However, I truly love all of them and I’d like to check out all of these products soon! 🙂

  4. Ooh, I love the idea of using all natural beauty products that sound good enough to eat! I’ll have to give these a try soon!
