If you’re like me and love art in a festive atmosphere, make your plans to attend Cornell Art Museum’s Fall Art on the Square in Delray Beach, one of two annual two-day Premiere Juried Outdoor Fine Art Shows. The event runs from Saturday, November 9 through Sunday, November 10, and it features more than 80 artists from across the country on the front and side grounds of Old School Square. You can expect to find exceptional, vetted fine artwork in various media and at affordable price points. You’ll also enjoy live music as you stroll among the artist booths, and you can snag some good eats at the Gourmet Café for wine, beer and delicious bites.
I definitely plan to visit the Cornell Art Museum’s exciting new exhibition, “Art Couture,” including exhibitions by amazing artists such as my friend Amanda Perna.
Fall Art on the Square also supports local non-profit art groups such as Delray Art League, Palm Beach Plein Air and WITVA (Women in the Visual Arts) by offering them reduced rate, non-juried group booths. “My vision in creating Cornell Art Museum’s Art on the Square fine art show is to welcome national artists who travel south yearly to our beautiful historic arts campus in the heart of downtown Delray Beach,” says Marusca Gatto, Old School Square’s Director of Art Events and Show Director for Art on the Square. “It’s amazing to see so many diverse talents gathered in one place, including our fellow non-profit art groups, engaging and discussing their work with curious art collectors.”
