As we slowly but surely emerge from the pandemic, you might be more interested in putting your best face forward. I know I am… after months and months of no makeup, frizzy hair and dull skin. We could all use a little beauty TLC, so treat yourself to a regimen update with some amazing products!
It’s my pleasure to bring to your notice 3 innovative items that have captured my own attention lately (technically 4, because one recommendation is a two-fer). Skin, hair and makeup – gotcha covered, so let’s dive in!
This is such a fun item, that I had to put it at the top of this list. I’ve been using it every day, and I love how the vibration and massaging action stimulate lymphatic movement in my face. The red light helps combat fine lines and wrinkles, and I also use it to work on my melasma/hyperpigmentation left over from my pregnancy 3 years ago. I do use the Conductive Serum to boost the effects of my skincare while using the SolaWave Wand.
You can also purchase it for 20% off using my code ANGELAC.
Info from the company:
“The SolaWave Wand is an advanced skincare tool that combines 4 powerful (and proven) dermatology functions: microcurrents, red light therapy, warming, and vibration. It’s rechargeable and portable, so you can carry the power of a professional spa treatment in your pocket.”
2. Curious Round Brush (XL) by Nick Stenson
I’ve been obsessed with this game-changer brush ever since I got it. What I love the most about it is that I can use it not only to achieve volume and more shine, but also use it as a teasing brush at my roots. I actually think it does a better job of teasing my hair, than a teasing brush that’s solely dedicated just to teasing! Super impressive.
I got more shine out of it than any other brush I have used, too. Literally this brush is everything, especially because I really struggle with my hair. It is dull, flyaway, limp because it’s so fine… it has helped me a TON.
It also comes in oval shape and a round shape in Medium, too.
Info from the company:
“The Curious Round Brushes (Medium & XL) are a combination of natural fiber boar bristles and a ceramic ionic barrel to promote shine and faster blow-dries. Their patented configuration creates tension and control to enhance styling and finishing techniques.”
3. Hourglass Cosmetics Brow Sculpting Pencils
My top makeup struggle is that my eyebrows are so thin. I want them to appear fuller, but I don’t want them to look fake… and drawing a perfect line is sometimes hard for me, especially when I’m in a hurry.
Enter the tag-team duo of the Arch Brow Micro-Sculpting Pencil and the Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil (which was actually an Allure Best of Beauty Winner in 2019). Although both products have been around for a bit, I JUST discovered the powerful one-two punch of combining them. It gives me a perfectly defined brow in less time.
Using the micro pencil allows me to draw my arch exactly how I want, since the tip is both wide AND thin. It’s like an oval! And then the regular pencil is fatter, with more of a triangle shape. I use that to fill in, or on its own when I am in an extra-extra hurry.
Info from the company about the Micro:
“An ultra-precise brow pencil designed to impart the thinnest hair-like strokes for microblade-worthy effects without the blade. The 1.4mm tip provides complete control for naturally defined brows.”
Info from the company about the regular:
“A mechanical brow pencil with a distinctive triangular-shaped tip that
combines the benefits of powder, pencil and wax to effortlessly fill brows. The double-ended component also comes with a brush to blend and groom brows into place.”
I hope these beauty recommendations help you level up your game! Let me know in the comments below which product(s) caught you eye.
